Missouri Code.org AI Foundations Application

Code.org AI Foundations prepares students for the future with a high school introductory computer science course that blends real-world AI applications with computer science fundamentals—no prior experience needed. This course approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Teachers who complete this training will be “properly qualified to teach a computer science course”

Applications will be reviewed weekly.  Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis to qualified applicants.  The Missouri CS grant limits scholarships to public and public charter school teachers.  Teachers from private schools do not qualify.  The cost of training is $1,000, which includes training, materials, and breakfast/lunch for the week.

The Missouri CS Grant provides funding to cover the cost of a hotel room for participants traveling greater than 50 miles to the training.
